R U OK? Day's Founder Gavin Larkin Shows How One Cup Of Coffee and One Question Can Change A Life
There has always been, and always will be, people who inspire us and make their presence felt. In today’s highly connected world, it’s very easy to rattle off an endless list of inspirational leaders, artists, scientists, thinkers and entrepreneurs who are in the same vein.
People such as Nelson Mandela, Oprah Winfrey, Will Smith, Michael Jordan, Mother Theresa or Steve Jobs, just to name a few. It’s as though some common thread links them all—almost as if they were tapping into a single source for their inspiration and success. And maybe they are.

An inspiring human being in our community is Gavin Larkin, Founder of R U OK? Day. Gavin says, “In the time it takes to have your coffee, you can start a conversation that could change a life.”
We want to acknowledge Gavin’s remarkable courage as he continues his journey with cancer. And, as September 15th is the day officially dedicated to R U OK? Day, we want to check in with you and ask, “Are you okay?” We also want to encourage you to connect with the people in your community and find out if they are okay. And, your community doesn’t only mean your family and your team. It includes your clients, your suppliers—in fact it’s every person that you come in contact with.
Take Action: On R U OK?Day, September 15th, who will you ask?
